Are you pregnant? Looking for a care provider?
Midwives are free with a BC Care Card and can provide comprehensive care throughout your pregnancy, labour and birth, and postpartum (until your baby is 6 weeks old).
Midwives are primary care providers (like doctors) and can order tests, ultrasounds, and write some prescriptions. We offer you longer appointment times (45 minutes) and home visits after your baby is born.
You can decide if you want to have your baby at home or in the hospital! We work with women who live in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster.
Beth Duncan is a Registered Midwife who works at Pomegranate Community Midwives. She is familiar with the D/deaf community and signs.
