BC Culture Days invites emerging artists in all disciplines who are located in B.C. to apply to the 2024 Ambassador Program.
Five artists will receive artist fees and a production budget totaling $2,000 to present a free community-engaged event during Culture Days (between September 20 – October 13, 2024).
In addition, the ambassadors will participate in a paid 3-month mentorship ($1,000 total for approx. 8 hrs/month) with an established artist starting in May. They will also act as a Culture Days media spokesperson for their community from August-October.
This year’s ambassador events will explore the theme of intercultural celebration. BC Culture Days are seeking creative event ideas that honor and amplify cultural understanding, collaboration, and connection.
