Are you interested in providing respite care or behaviour
intervention to Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing children
and youth with additional support needs? Are you fluent in
American Sign Language?
We are looking for signing Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members,
adult Children of Deaf Adults, parents of older children, or young adults to
provide respite to Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing individuals with
additional support needs.
Interested? Please join our Information Session to learn more about how to
become a respite provider!
The information sessions will be presented by Dr. Brenda Fossett & Melissa
Mykle (Provincial Deaf and Hard of Hearing – Family Services). The workshop
will be presented in American Sign Language. Interpretation provided upon
request.
