WAY Workshop

Good Afternoon YOUTH!

There will be a Work Alliance for Youth (WAY) workshop coming up in Vancouver on February 12th 2009 from 4 pm to 9 pm, at DouglasCollege, New Westminster, and Theatre 2201.Please read the flyer in attachment for more information!!! WAY.PDF
The consent form is for Youth under 18 years old.
This is for Deaf or Hard of Hearing Youth fromVancouverbetween 17 to 30 years old. Youth use ASL or not: welcome we will provide ASL-Voice interpreters and maybe NCS. Foods will be provided and are free. We will have good presenters!!!

Remember, the workshop is “Work Alliance for Youth”. The purpose/goal of this workshop is to help YOUTH enter the labor market by offering Workshops and “coffee chats” in three different areas of employment: within the Deaf community, outside of the Deaf community and through Self-employment. Those presenters are to share their personal experience and expertise to youth (Deaf and Hard of Hearing, oral deaf, etc) about employment and issues surrounding employment (ex: education, career, leadership, etc).
