TransLink is now entering the third phase of changing the fare system. They want to have your feedback and have your say!
Currently, we paying bus fare for all areas of Metro Vancouver (flat rate) and two zones for SeaBus and up to three zones for SkyTrain. The SkyTrain fare is one zone for after 6:30 PM week days, weekends and holidays.
TransLink asked for your feedback/opinion on:
1. Fares by distance with two options: a) bus one zone flat rate and SeaBus/SkyTrain by kilometers ridden or b) Buses, SeaBus and SkyTrain by kilometers ridden.
2. Fare products for frequent riders (Pre-paid fare and Fare capping)
3. Expanding customer discounts (example for low income riders)
