All Bodies Dance Project: DO MAKE SHOW

[image description: Video opens up with a black screen and white text that says “ALL BODIES DANCE PROJECT”. An image of their flyer appears immediately afterwards which has people with various abilities dancing together. On top of the flyer, text appears that says “DO MAKE SHOW”. Image & text fades out as a white person with red hair appears. She is wearing a black shirt and starts to sign.]

Hello everybody.

Do you know of the All Bodies Dance Project? No? Let me tell you a little bit. This project is where dancers with and without disabilities get together to create various dances together.

Soon the All Bodies Dance Project is having an event called DO MAKE SHOW which has 5 new dances which has over 25 dancers with and without disabilities. The show is on June 1st at 8pm and June 2nd at 2pm and 8pm at the Roundhouse, 181 Roundhouse Mews on Pacific and Davie. There is a $10-$25 sliding scale, nobody turned away for lack of funds.

As for access information: the space is wheelchair accessible, there are gender neutral bathrooms, all shows are ASL interpreted, the space is scent-reduced – please do not wear hairspray, perfume, deodorant, etc. The June 2nd @ 8pm show has visual description – what is seen will be described visually. Hope to see you there!
