Surveys

1) The Canadian Association of the Deaf is doing an online survey on how Deaf Canadians access social media, how they use it, what they like about it, and if they feel safe when online. I was hoping that you would be able to post a link to your website and/or forward an email to a list of possible respondents.

Any assistance in the distribution of the survey that you could provide would be appreciated.

2) For a long time many people have wanted Video Relay Service (VRS) in Canada.  VRS is like other forms of relay, except that it allows communication between a person who uses a visual form of communication such as sign language, and a telephone user, via a sign language interpreter seen on video.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (the CRTC) is considering if and how VRS may be brought to Canada and your input will be helpful in their considerations.  An online survey has been created; however, there are only a few days available to complete the survey, so please go online right away to answer these important questions.

Your participation is highly valued.  The online survey must be completed no later than Wednesday, July 20th.  If you receive more than one invitation to complete this survey, please only take the survey one time.

The survey is available in both English and French, and will only require 10 minutes of your time.  You may also have someone else in your household assist you or answer on your behalf.  To complete the survey, please click on the link below and answer the questions to the best of your ability.
