Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Donatas Pocesiunas. I am a deaf architect and city planner and graphic designer from Lithuania. I received a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Vilnius Arts Academy in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2011. During my four-year enrollment at Vilnius, I participated in student exchange program called Erasmus, during which I took courses at Bremen University, Germany in 2010. My previous architecture experience includes stints at the Vilnius Architecture Studio (Lithuania), the architecture company “Forma” (Lithuania) and Gallaudet University (the USA). I have three years in professional experience.
I have worked with a team of architects, researchers and designers to establish the first World Deaf Architecture (WDA) Conference. In the month of May, the conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia located in United States.
Having said that, the purpose of this letter is to inquire information about internship/volunteer opportunities in your city, Vancouver.
