Breath-ahhh Creation Workshop

Hello, I would like to put out a call for Deaf and Hard of Hearing artists who would be interested in creating the Fall production with Theatre Terrific. It’s going to be a great experience. The workshop is ASL friendly and is an open invitation to all abilities. Also, if they are selected for the production, we will compensate them. See more info below.

Kind regards,
Landon Krentz

CONNECT!  COMMUNITY!  CREATE!

Get ready for the Vancouver Fringe Festival!!!

Theatre Terrific will be leading a workshop in theatre skills and creation.

This workshop will introduce you to basic skills in movement, gesture, breath, how to work within a diverse theatre ensemble, how to collaborate and how to begin to develop a story through group composition.

If you want to participate in Theatre Terrific’s Vancovuer Fringe Festival production of Breath-Ahhh, it would be a good idea to attend this workshop. Read the synopsis below:

“The importance of breathing need hardly be stressed. It provides the oxygen for the metabolic processes; literally it supports the fires of life. But breath as “pneuma” is also the spirit or soul. We live in an ocean of air like fish in a body of water. By our breathing we are attuned to our atmosphere. If we inhibit our breathing we isolate ourselves from the medium in which we exist.” – Alexander LowenThe Voice of the Body

We welcome all actors experienced/emerging with or without physical, mental health, cognitive, gender and cultural differences.
