Exploring the Active Power of Reframing
This workshop explores power and privilege and ways that we can “unpack” some of those privileges for the purpose of creating more socially just environments (and interactions).
Ryan Commerson and Alison Aubrecht will examine social construction, ideology and tools for reframing. Reframing has the potential to inspire positive images. They will critically interrogate the four letter word, d-e-a-f, and all of the baggage that comes with it.
Anti-Bullying
Leslee Scott will examine the difference between bullying and teasing and explain how parents and teachers can help students to overcome these issues.
