Just as we’re about to start our exciting 2024/25 season, DanceHouse is delighted to announce our recruitment drive for new members to the DanceHouse board of directors.
Are you passionate about the performing arts and looking for ways to give back to your community, build your network and become more engaged?
We are currently looking for volunteers to support our governance and committee work.
We are especially interested in Board Members with a background in:
- Leadership
- Accounting/finance
- Corporate/business law
- Fiduciary thinking
- Fundraising/development
- Information technology
- Marketing/communications
- Network development
In addition, the ideal candidate(s) will have the following qualifications:
- Some knowledge of non-profit governance and sector
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Public speaking
- Enthusiasm for DanceHouse’s mission and willingness to contribute to the cause
Committees: DanceHouse One, Finance, Fundraising, Governance & Nominating, Venues
