Spring Garbaret for Youth

We’re excited to announce our Spring Gabaret — an evening of youth storytelling, poetry, songs, dancing, and more! Come and hang out, have some refreshments, take a photo with new and old friends, and enjoy live performances from your fellow Gabbers!

This event takes place on the unceded territories of the x?m??k??y??m (Musqueam), S?wx?wú7mesh (Squamish), and s?l?ilw?ta?? (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples.

Time: 6-9 PM
Location: 5th Floor of YMCA, 955 Burrard St
Age: 14-25*
Cost: FREE

*This event is for queer, trans, Two-Spirit and allied youth between the ages of 14-25. We’re also excited to be joined by QMUNITY’s Older Adults & Seniors Program as audience members!

Youth interested in signing up to perform can do so by contacting youth@qmunity.ca. We want all kinds of performances! Show us your skills!

~ ACCESSIBILITY ~

YMCA is a fully accessible venue with accessible washrooms and an elevator that can go to the 5th floor. All washrooms are all gender single stalls.

ASL Interpretation will be provided!

As per our Guidelines, we ask that folks who attend help to create a scent reduced space. Please refrain from wearing perfumes and scented products.
