What: Alzheimers & Dementia workshop

Time: 1:00pm. (If you are early, please wait until they say its OK to come in. Please do not bother people when they are busy with the scheduled activities)
Where: Happy Hands Club for the Deaf, 3022 East 49th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C.
Enter by the back door of the building. The building is wheelchair accessible.
Interpreters are provided.
Workshop is open to anyone in the Deaf community.

BC School for the Deaf is hosting a K-12 Drama Night to “Celebrate Earth Day” in ASL on Wednesday, April 20th at 7:00-8:30 PM!! There will be few skits, ASL poetry, art, dance, and … STAFF fashion show!! Now, that’s something you would NOT want to miss!! Refreshments will be sold during the intermission.

Last Chance To See Mood Disorders Workshop In Burnaby
The Well-Being Program will be providing Mood Disorders workshop in Burnaby, BC for the last time.
This workshop has circled the province of B.C. and each time it has been provided, there have been improvements made, and it is has been completely revamped from the first time it was provided in Fall 2009.
Come and see Eileen Edinger Marshall share the differences between Anxiety, Depression & Bi-polar mood disorders. She also has an interesting story to tell, and Eileen makes the workshop fun, with audience participants making guesses.
Learn:
What are the triggers – how mood disorders are caused?
What is the difference between Anxiety, Depression & Bi-Polar? (Did you know there are two types of Bi-polar?)
How does a support system help?
