The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – Interpreted Performance
The Department of Theatre at the University of Victoria is once again offering sign language interpretation for a play in its Phoenix Theatre season. We’re excited to offer interpretation for the family show of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” a much-loved production that is mounted each December at Vancouver’s Pacific Theatre and features two of our alumni, Kaitlin Williams and Mack Gordon.
The Vancouver Deaf interpreter and theatre practitioner Nigel Howard will once again present the interpretation with Hearing interpreter Nicole Pedneault for our Saturday matinee performance on October 11 at 2pm.
Paintball Island
Award-winning BC author Pam Withers approaches the issue of deaf culture with sensitivity and understanding. Bravo!
