We are very pleased to share with you the newly released CRA Video Series: Tax Measures for Persons with Disabilities which I hope will be of interest to your organization and your clients.
This video series is intended to help individuals with a disability, or the people who support them, find the answers to some of the key questions related to tax measures that may apply to them. It is divided into ten segments, ranging from 1 to 13 minutes in length, and totals just over 1 hour. It covers many relevant topics such as the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), medical expenses, the caregiver amount, the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP).
The video can be viewed directly on the CRA website or downloaded for offline viewing. Each video segment comes with Closed Captions which can be viewed by clicking the CC at the bottom right-hand corner of the video player. There is also a transcript available for each segment as well as a related links listing for more information.
