My name is Jamie Munro. I am a Deaf woman and I will graduate this year from George Elliot Secondary School in Lake Country
near Kelowna.
In fall of 2014, I will be going to Vancouver Community College for two years. For the first year I will take English Upgrading of
Deaf and Hard- Hearing program and then I will take the Culinary Arts program because I want to become a chef.
I am looking for a room and board situation with a family who knows ASL. A Deaf family would be great if possible. I will be
using the public transit system so am looking for a home close to bus or skytrain routes.
