Your challenge
Under the supervision of the Group Leader, Electrochemical Materials, the Technical Officer, Electrochemical Materials Synthesis and Characterization provides technical support for the research and development of electrochemical technologies. This position will be responsible for performing physical and chemical modifications of materials for electrochemical systems. The position will also conduct laboratory experiments; characterization of materials and components relevant to electrochemical technologies; operate a wide variety of machine tools; use physical and chemical methods; analytical and/or electronic equipment for materials characterization; maintain & service lab equipment; provide assistance to the construction of test specimens, instrumentation and testing; and archive and maintain data.
