Good News!
The CRTC – Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission is moving forward with the VRS issue in Canada. The VRS hearing is going ahead as scheduled for October 21-25, 2013 in Gatineau, Quebec.
The CRTC has invited several, individuals, organizations, and telecommunication service providers to make presentations at the VRS Hearing. BCVRS was invited as well as several British Columbia individuals.

BCVRS plans to send 3 Committee members to make the presentation to the CRTC Commissioners. Four Committee members will participate from the Vancouver CRTC office. BCVRS is scheduled to present on Thursday October 24th.
In appreciation to the BC Deaf community’s support of the BCVRS for the past 5 years, members of the community will be invited to a private screening/video showing of the video that will be presented to the CRTC Commissioners.
