Dexter the cat has pure white fur, light green eyes, and a tiny black spot on his nose. He’s a big guy – literally about the size of a cocker spaniel, but not fat, and is a mature adult. When I adopted Dexter from the SPCA I hadn’t realized that many white cats with light eyes are deaf, and it took some time to figure this out. Because Dexter is deaf, he’s quite a vocal cat, since he can’t hear himself. He is, absolutely, one of the most loving, people-friendly animals I’ve ever met, and gets along well with all humans, no matter if they’re adults, toddlers, or infants. He’s a one-cat-per-home kind of guy, though, so he shouldn’t be introduced into a home that has other pets. It’s horrible to have to give him up, but I’m moving across the ocean and can’t take him with me. He’ll be a wonderful companion – please adopt him!
