Shared Living Provider

Milieu Family Services is screening persons or families
interested in providing shared living supports.
Currently we are screening for a young man who is looking to
move in to the Burnaby area.
The Youngman is proficient using
ASL and requires his Shared Living Provider to be as well.
Shared living is defined as the planned placement of an individual
with a developmental disability in a families’ home other than the
natural families’ home. The Shared living provider would support
and be responsible for/to the individual in their home 24 hours a
day, and welcome the individual as part of their family.
