QMUNITY Gab Youth Drop In

QMUNITY Gab Youth is a safe place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, two-spirit, intersex, queer, questioning (queer) youth 25 years of age and under and their allies. Gab provides information, support and referrals to queer youth as well as resources for family, friends, and professionals.
Gab also provides weekly drop-ins for youth between the ages of 14 and 25 years.
Gab is a cool place where youth can kick back and talk with friends. It’s also a great place to meet people that have similar questions about sexual orientation or gender identity.
Gab drop-ins are casual, so you can choose to stop by at any time. There is not any pressure to show up at the beginning or to stay for the whole thing. There are many different reasons youth show up for Gab drop-ins. Some people come to meet with friends or make new friends. Some people come for support from other youth or the staff and volunteers. There is something for everyone at Gab.
There are three Gab drop-ins that you can come to:
• Wednesdays 4 – 6 p.m.
• Thursdays 4 – 6 p.m. (for female-identified and trans*-identified youth)
• Fridays 7 – 10 p.m.
What we do a bunch of activities at drop ins. Everything from movie nights to skating and workshops to board games and visits to Granville Island and other exciting events around Vancouver.
Our Friday night drop ins (Fridays from 7-10pm) now have ASL student interpreters from Douglas College to help make our space more accessible. We hope you can join us at a drop in sometime! Feel free to email gabyouth@qmunity.ca with any questions or for more information!
