Medical Interpreting Services is excited to announce new 2 new ways to contact Medical Interpreting Services.
MIS has TTY, videophone, fax, email, and voice calls. Now we have two cell phones for text messages only.
For a medical interpreter, you can text your request for scheduled appointments 24/7. We will respond back between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Monday to Friday. Text number is 778.995.7391 Please give us your name, doctor’s name, medical address, date, and phone number when you text for your doctor’s appointment. The dispatcher will text you back to confirm.
Emergency call, you need an MIS interpreter to go to emergency. Now you can text 778.990.7391 24/7 to request a MIS interpreter to go to emergencies (hospital). An interpreter will be dispatched immediately.
Please tell or text the dispatcher your name and name of the hospital and we will give an interpreter the name and the location.
We will hand out the new MIS emergency cards soon.
