Cecelia Klassen (Family Network for Deaf Children) and Paige Thombs (Deaf Access Office) will talk about parent advocacy in different contexts.
This will include more than educational advocacy – also advocacy and access in other areas of a deaf child’s life and a child of a deaf parent’s life.
Cecelia has a great deal of experience and information to share from her own journey as a mother of a deaf child, and Paige is an amazing resource person and support with advocacy and access.
