Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility has launched Access ASL, an on-demand ASL interpreting service that helps support everyday communication between Deaf ASL users and hearing service providers.
Access ASL connects participating organizations with a live ASL interpreter through video remote interpreting, helping support clear communication during everyday interactions like asking questions, checking in, requesting support, or accessing services.
During the soft launch, Access ASL will be available at select partner locations. Deaf ASL users can look for Access ASL signage or ask staff at participating locations about using the service.
