Visual Description:
Three adults stand side by side on a grassy park field, facing the camera. On the left, Gregory wears a navy blue T-shirt, gray shorts, and sunglasses. In the middle, Megan wears a long dark blue and green dress with a black cardigan, her hair tied in a bun. On
the right, Dan wears glasses, a blue plaid short-sleeve button-up shirt, and olive green shorts. Behind them, large leafy trees fill the background, with a park building to the left and picnic tables visible in the distance. It is a bright, sunny day.

Video Transcript:
Gregory: Hello, I’m Gregory Desrosiers.

Dan: Hello, I’m Dan Lecours.

Gregory: You may be wondering what we’re doing here.
We have a Cornhole event coming up.
Cornhole is similar to horseshoes, with a hint of basketball.
It’s a simple and fun game that requires very little physical effort.
How do you play cornhole?
The game is played with bean bags and teams of four players.
Where’s the “hole” in cornhole?
It’s over there. (points to the board)
(Throws a bean bag.)

Dan: (throws the bean bag to the board)

Megan: Hi, my name is Megan. (shows sign name)
I am the President of GVAD.
We are here about Cornhole, but I have no idea how it works. Gregory will explain the game.

Gregory: Hello! I am Gregory Desrosiers.
You don’t know Cornhole?
Well, it is a fun and cool game.
You will toss bean bags to the board, aiming for the hole.

Dan: Hello, my name is Dan Lecours. (shows sign name)
Did you know that in the East, many Deaf and hard of hearing people play Cornhole? But here in BC, we have never done this.
The Eastern Deaf and hard of hearing community wants to play against us in the future.
That means we need to practice.

Megan: Oh, so we need to grab the opportunity to practice.
There is a possibility that we will go up against them in the next couple of years.

Gregory: Come on and have fun!

Megan: I will explain more about tickets, date, and location.
Cornhole is on July 25 at Bonsor Recreation Centre.
For ticket costs:
Playing tickets will be $30 for non-members, $20 for members.
Spectator tickets will be $10 for non-members, $5 for members.
We will provide food, but what kind of food is undetermined.
We will also have donations, prizes, etc.
Adults above the age of 16 will receive a cash prize.
For those under 16, you will receive a material prize — don’t worry, it’s a big prize.
Come join us!

Megan: I want to add something.
Buying a playing ticket to play at the door is not possible.
You need to sign up online because we need to form teams and matches beforehand.
But if you are a fan, you can buy a spectator ticket at the door.
Thank you.
