RDSP Info Session in ASL

Have you been dreaming about retirement but haven’t started planning yet? Do you know how or where to find more money to help you save more? Are you confident that you’ll be financially ready by the time you retire? It’s never too early to start thinking ahead! In fact, it may save you a lot of time, money and worry if you start NOW.

Did you know that October is National RDSP (Registered Disability Savings Plan) Awareness Month? RDSP started in December 2008 after many years of advocacy, research and campaigning by PLAN (Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network) with a strong belief that Canadians with disabilities deserve equal opportunity for financial freedom like everyone else.

However, despite the fact that it’s been available for 12 years, there is an estimated 62% of eligible British Columbians and 68% of eligible Canadians in general still missing out on an RDSP. That is approximately 7 out of 10 eligible Canadians… which is a lot! We want to change this number because, after all, financial wellness is one of the core elements required for the overall well-being and the total health of an individual and we want it for you! You deserve better!

We are so excited to offer an opportunity for you to tune in and meet Andrew Stadnicki, a Deaf Financial Advisor from Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network and Desjardins Financial Security Investments Inc. Andrew is currently licensed for life and health insurance in Ontario and registered to offer mutual funds in the province of BC, Ontario and Quebec. This webinar is your chance to learn more about how this program can work to your benefit for long-term financial prosperity and to ask burning questions that you’ve been longing to ask in your first language!
