I am conducting research on the accessibility to law enforcement for Deaf individuals. The goal of the project is to identify the barriers and challenges the Deaf community faces during interactions with police officers, discover what current training is offered to police officers, and develop some recommendations.
I have created an online survey to gather some data from Deaf community members who have had interactions with police officers. I am trying to spread the word to get as many people involved as possible and if you could pass it along, it would be much appreciated.
