CAV would like your help on a new research initiative that will be led by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
The CRTC is developing a database of registered VRS users who would like to participate in research projects on the accessibility of communications services. The CRTC will start conducting research projects in 2020, and will randomly draw potential research participants from the database.
This is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts in the CRTC’s research, which may be used in future CRTC proceedings of interest to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. We hope that you will join in by adding your name to the database as soon as possible in the next few weeks.
The database is called the Accessibility Research List and is now open for registration. If you want to add your name to this list, please click on the link below to register. The registration site is hosted by a company called Advanis. When you go to the Advanis registration site, you will be asked for a little bit of information about yourself, and be given information about how people will be contacted about upcoming research projects. All the information you provide will be used for research purposes only and administered as per the requirements of the Privacy Act.
Register for the Accessibility Research List
Thank you!
