CBC Studio 700 is wheelchair accessible  and this event will be ASL interpreted.
As part of BC Culture Days, Kickstart will be presenting an artists talk called 10×5; 10 artists that identify as living with a disability will give a 5 minute presentation on their artwork and creative practice.
Artists giving presentations are: Nancy Drewitt, Murray Siple, Peggy Logan, Margaux Wosk, Laura Auffray, Penny Lim, Darrell Hyatt, Alexandra Halliday, Olivia Dreisinger, and Glenn Hesse.
Kickstart Disability Arts and Cultureis registered charitable organization founded in 1998 and is one of the few professional arts organization in BC that supports and promotes artists who identify as living with a disability. Kickstart showcases authentic representations of the disability experience and ensures that these artists are paid for their work.
