Zee Zee Theatre’s Dead People’s Things – ASL Interpreted Performances

Dead People’s Things by Dave Deveau
ASL Interpreted Performances: April 20 at 2 pm, May 3, 8 pm
Studio 16, 1555 West 7th Avenue
Directed by Cameron Mackenzie
Starring Eileen Barrett & Meaghan Chenosky
This poignant, darkly comic tale based on true events is a reflection on the stories behind the things we collect as we go through life. The play is a heartrending haunting that examines loneliness and the strange contradiction between belongings and belonging.
The production is based on the real-life events of award-winning local writer Dave Deveau and his husband, director Mackenzie, experienced following the death of the playwright’s aunt. This deeply personal play marks Deveau’s 11th premiere, following acclaimed works such as My Funny Valentine and The Cultch’s 2017 hit Elbow Room Café: The Musical.
