My name is Dan Chalcraft and I am the Community Engagement Assistant at the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC. The non-profit organization is launching a new Seniors Program which will be peer driven in terms of activities and planning by seniors.
Details of the first seniors group meeting:
Introduction of the people in attendance and brief introduction of the topics
Topics: talk on United Nations protocol on disability (Jewel Smith is a possible speaker), federal legislation regarding the disability act, and the BC Disability act
A Cerebral Palsy Association of BC member will be playing the guitar.
There will be no food and drink.
The meeting will be
June 5th at the
Yaletown Community Roundhouse
from 3 to 4 pm. Â
