To resolve any confusion that might exist, the Interim Board of Directors of CAV wishes to confirm that CAV is not associated with any past or current survey or other market research in relation to VRS within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. It is of course open to any potential VRS provider to undertake their own market research, but we wish to confirm that no such activity or market research has been, or is being conducted, on behalf, or for the benefit, of the CAV.
The CAV is not currently conducting any survey and is not responding to any current survey on behalf of the DHH community, or otherwise. It is the intention of CAV that any information to be solicited from the VRS vendor community will be conducted in the context of a public procurement process managed by CAV. All official statements from the CAV will originate only from the email address info@cav-acs.ca.
