The SFU Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies is thrilled to invite you to the very fun 2015 edition of the annual Maggie Lowe Benston Endowment Lecture: a SCREENING and TALK by Chris Vargas — trans filmmaker extraordinaire and founder of the Museum for Transgender Hirstory and Art (MOTHA — http://www.sfmotha.org/). Chris will be showing a number of his short films and talking to us about founding this groundbreaking museum! The event will open with a short film by local filmmaker, Gwen Haworth.
