AVLIC’s Canadian Evaluation System (CES) is Seeking an ASL Rater Facilitator

The role of the ASL rater facilitator is to provide support and a clear process that will enable a team of ASL
raters to accomplish their task with the highest level of quality assurance. The raters will be rating TOI
candidates’ performance according to AVLIC’s certification standards.

The main tasks of the facilitator consist of preparing and facilitating the weekend rating process and produce
(in ASL) summary reports to all TOI candidates. A report will also be provided to AVLIC following the rating
weekend.
