Hello women and allies –
The International Women’s Day dinner is coming up in March. Again, we hope to have a table or two of Deaf women. Save your money for the tickets – $45 ($30 for low income women). ASL interpreters will be there…lots of good food, interesting speakers and performers.
The special performer is Jerilynn Webster, known as JB the First Lady, who is a member of the Nuxalk & Cayuga Nations. She is a Vancouver-based female hip hop/spoken word artist, beat-boxer, cultural dancer and youth educator.
Hope there will be 8 or more Deaf women at one or two tables.
