Residential Schools Across Canada

My name is Sarah Fullick and I am a first year interpreter student at George Brown College. For one of our classes we are required to create a website about an important topic among the Deaf Community; mine being Deaf Residential Schools across Canada.
For this website I would like to include videos and/or letters from multiple people within the Deaf Community who have attended Residential Deaf Schools. I feel it would create awareness for anyone researching Residential Schools and add to the overall production of the website. If you are interested in participating could you please include the following;
• What Residential School(s) you attended
• What kind of experience did you have attending a Residential School i.e. positive or negative and why?
• Do you support Deaf Residential Schools, why or why not?
• Would you encourage hearing parents to send their Deaf children to Residential Schools? Why or why not?
If you chose to participate, and wish to include your experience in video format please post it on you-tube and send me an email with the link and your name included. For any written submissions please email them to me at the address below.
