What: Deaf, Deaf, World event – Deaftopia
“Join us for a fun – filled event to learn about Deaf Culture,
American Sign Language, and much more!”
Who: ASL & Deaf Studies Students from Vancouver Community College (VCC);
Supported by Deaf & Deaf-Blind community organizations and individuals.
When: Saturday June 3, 2017 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Admission: $5.00 / person; $10 for families of 3 or more.

Summary: This is an annual fundraising event by VCC students supported by Deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf-Blind, and hearing volunteers to introduce Deaf Culture, ASL, and the Deaf World to the wider community.
In addition, there will be booths by Deaf Community groups showcasing their activities. The Greater Vancouver Association of the Deaf and the Deaf-Blind Planning Committee will have their own tables and promote other activities happening locally related to the National Deafblind Awareness Month.
