Langley Church providing ASL interpretation for Sunday Services

Beginning May 10, 2020, North Langley Community Church will provide live-streamed professional ASL interpretation of our Sunday morning worship online. More information can be found on our website at www.nlcc.ca/asl (beginning May 4), and the stream can be accessed on Youtube here.

The service streams from 10:00 – 11:15 am every Sunday morning. Please join us for a little bit of spiritual encouragement in the midst of a strange season.

Deaf Children’s Society of BC (DCS) is a registered charity and not-for-profit agency that provides resources, programs, support and information to families with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children from birth to age five. Currently we are the ONLY organization in British Columbia providing pre-school and daycare services in American Sign Language, which is primarily how our clients learn to communicate and function in the world.

Wavefront Centre’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Christopher Sutton.

Prior to joining Wavefront Centre, Christopher was the National Executive Director of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA), where he was one of the forces behind Bill C-81: an Accessible Canada Act. He also positioned CHHA as the leading go-to organization for people impacted with hearing loss in Canada.

Christopher joins Wavefront Centre at a unique and opportune time. Christopher says, “Together, we will move forward in making Wavefront Centre the premier non-profit organization in Canada at the forefront in providing consultation, services, advocacy, and programs that enable Deaf and Hard of Hearing and hearing people achieve barrier-free communication accessibility everywhere.”

Welcome Christopher, we look forward to breaking barriers with you!
