Personal Planning
The wisdom of having a personal plan is emphasized:

Representation Agreements,
Powers of Attorney, and
Advance Directives
are needed to express your wishes regarding personal care, certain financial matters and end of life care if you are no longer able to speak for yourself.

10:45am. – 12 noon PREVENTING FALLS

We review the alarming impact falls have on the well-being of seniors and identify hazards that contribute to the likelihood of falls. We recommend safeguards and demonstrate exercises to improve balance and strength.

APSEA/Elks Deaf Camp 2016

The APSEA/Elks Deaf camp gives children who are deaf or hard of hearing the opportunity to experience summer camp in a safe, active and fun environment while connecting with others who face similar challenges. We welcome campers from across Atlantic Canada between the ages of 7-14. Counselors and students are supported by interpreters, APSEA staff, an onsite nurse and full time cook as well as a number of volunteer helpers who help in the making and serving of meals.

But she has a difficulty to catch up with her study. So she hopes that we could find her a Sign Language tutor to help her. She knew very little sign language.
