They say that learning an unofficial language is not useful because not everyone gets to travel, however, anyone can go Deaf later in life.
This was not the case for Landon Krentz. He was born profoundly Deaf with a hearing family who did not know any sign language. He had to adjust to the hearing world from the very beginning, and was denied any access to the Deaf community during his childhood for many political reasons that he was not aware of at the time.
On February 20th come experience his story about seeking acceptance and discovering ways to be a part of the opposing world, the Deaf world.
