A Deaf Ukrainian family has arrived in Vancouver. One high school student and one elementary student will be enrolled at BCSD. They need temporary housing until they get jobs and find their own place. They must leave where they are right now on October 19th.

Is there anyone in our beloved Deaf community, interpreters, and families, that would have space for 4 wonderful humans and a very small dog (Chihuahua) temporarily until they find their new home?

Please contact GVAD’s Ukraine Welcome Support Committee at deafukrainecommittee@gvad.com if you have ideas or any leads, ASAP.

Thank you.
