DYT Family Summer Immersion 2009

Deaf Youth Today

A week long program offered by Services for Family and Community Development. Families with children ages 5 to 19 who use sign language for all or part of their communication are invited to come together to share, to learn, and to connect with one another!

Sign language classes, education workshops, activities and outings maximize both parent and child learning. Parents and children will participate in some activities together using the learn-together philosophy and other activities will be focused on parents only/children only.

We will also have some awesome DYT staff working with us this week! This week promises to be fun-filled as we will provide creative learning opportunities as well as chances tot connect with other families from all over British Columbia.
